Twist 3D

This is going to be quite a short write up of this plane for one reason...I've already written for it before.  The reason for this is that it was a review model for RC Model Flyer Magazine.  For the low-down, check out the issue that went on sale on 9th September 2004.  Probably the only way to get hold of this now is by back-issue.

Just a brief summary though.  It has a VMAX 46 engine, budget Futaba Servo's (148's etc) and it flies quite well.

As you can see from the photo above, it has very large control movements as required for extreme 3D flight. It also has rear-mounted tail servo's for crisp, direct control response.

It has a very wide CG range, from quite far forward and being very stable, to quite far back, and being quite twitchy and responsive.
