Concorde

This is quite novel. Described by a friend of ours as "the most brilliant thing since Andy's Jet", it really does look the part. Powered by twin electric motors on the back of the wing, it is not exceptionally quick, and is not capable of aerobatics. But it a very gentle plane to buzz around the sky with.

It is made by Robbe in Germany, and is not overly expensive. It is made of polystyrene foam (similar to a twin jet...in fact the twin jet is the only thing I can really compare this to), and Shane has covered it with white profilm, giving it very shiny, smooth gloss finish, and it look 100 times better, with only a couple of ounces extra weight.

If it flew a little faster it would be better...it doesn't look quite right looking under-powered, sometimes struggling for speed, especially in the climb That really is the only thing that lets this plane down. Otherwise, it is very good and at least it looks like Concorde. Keep it low and level though, it shows a very good turn of speed, and will even roll!
