Chris Wilkinson
Chris has been modelling for quite a few years and has just recently returned to active flying after a few years of relative inactivity. His models range from a Blackhorse P40 Tomahawk to a lovely TopGun Spitfire which is featured here. He also 'dabbles' in electrics and has a nice Katana which is quite an attractive aircraft and performs really well.
I hope to get more details on Chris's models in the future, but in the meantime check out his latest acquisition.

Nice camouflage scheme, based on the 'Johnny Johnson' full size aircraft. For an ARTF it is very well finished and really looks the part both on the ground and in the air.

Looking purposeful and raring to go !

Chris's brother Mick acts as ground crew for the early flight.

Up and away, standby to retract undercarriage.

Down safely after a beautifully drama free flight.

Waiting for the next 'sortie' and looking good !!
Chris's latest model...... June 2010
An Edge 540 ARTF from Seagull Models.
Wingspan is 67" and is powered by an OS 120AX 2 Stroke Engine,
AUW Approx 10lbs.
A nice model to put together with no problems encountered along the way.
Having seen this model fly, I can vouch for its superb flying characteristics and it looks fabulous in the air with that colour scheme. Great model Chris, thanks for sharing it with us.

And another new model for July !!!!
Details are as follows......
A Quarter Scale Pitts - ARTF from Advanced Scale Models
Wingspan of 62.5" and powered by a CRRC 26cc petrol engine.
Chris hopes to have a maiden flight with it very soon, so fingers crossed that everything goes according to plan. She's as pretty as a picture in this livery, so should be quite a sight in the air.
